DAMPER CYLINDERS WITH THREADED BODY
These damping cylinders are used for machining large or small pieces when the stresses applied to the piece by the tool are such as to cause deformations or vibrations.
The damper cylinder (version A) is supplied by a single hydraulic line with controlled flow-rate. On this cylinder, the clamping sequence is as follows:
– The rod approaches the piece with minimum force (10-20 N), the pressure rises and is then clamped in position. When the pressure is released the rod returns to the initial starting position.
In the damper cylinder (version B) with spring approaching, the rod is fully extended in the basic position so that positioning can take place before clamping by means of contact with the weight of the piece for machining.
Special versions can be produced on request.
